Wilsons fame grew rapidly in the United Kingdom in the year 2014 in the UK. The actress starred as Alison Lockhart in Showtimes The Affair as a character with hidden secrets, who falls in the love of Noah Solloway. Wilson received a Golden Globe in 2015 for Best Actress, Television Series Drama. The show also starred Maura Terney as well as Joshua Jackson. I loved the opportunity to play a character from different perspectives Wilson told British Vogue in 2015. Noah thinks Alison is the most confident, attractive and reckless persona of her.
